Retreat time again,woohoooo lucky me 

this time we headed south to Picton, and caught up with ladies from across Australia.

The Delights retreat is always a blast, inspiring artisans , music I can hear, great product ,and serious belly laughter .Ahhhh Spirit refreshed :)

 and to these lovely women ,I'm a big fan of their heART and craft.

I love this photo , beautiful light and smiles, and connecting ladies from across the country .

its really a special image to me and I will tell you why.

Prior to this photo being taken Nicole ,Peg and I were discussing meeting

 our scraping inspirations in real life.

We always have people in the community that give us a wow moment, when we meet them,whether its because we have admired work previously, or that you have see their name for so long.

I seriously get that moment everytime I meet my scrap sistas at retreats, 

for their passion to their art and craft,

 for making the effort to travel, sometimes great distances to connect,

 and for accepting this boisterous happy scrapper for exactly who I am.

This page celebrates that connection .

Scrap the Girls- September

 First of the month is Challenge time..

This month Scrap the Girls has a sketch challenge for punters.

White with One -September

Marshmallow is the colour of choice this month over at White With One ,

so dive into your stash and extract all those pieces of pink and join in the fun.

I absolutely love this photo of Anita from Camp Mojo,

 taken after a colour run (very little running involved).

 I think its just the  perfect photo to showcase Marshmallow .

Never stop.....

 Never stop having fun,creating,playing and enjoying what we are lucky enough to have in our lives .

At the moment I'm having fun playing with crafty goodness at my scrap table and 

loving these photos from Camp Mojo's 80's night festivities .

So when the theme was set as 80's for the Saturday night dress up(joining in is optional), I was at two minds as to what to dress as. So i thought about the 80's and what I was doing then and boy I just loved my rollerskates. I loved Xanadu as well and who didn't want to dress up as Olivia and be a rollerskating Muse.

So Paul , refitted my original skates with some retro original wheels I scored on FB for $10, I searched my wardrobe for a white dress, found a knitted holey jumper(remember them from the 80's), chopped up some socks as legwarmers and to finish the ensemble a braid for my head ...lol . I was in the moment , especially with the tunes of Xanadu blaring ..oh it was so much fun.

 Big shout out to Kylie , my rollerskating buddie,

whom I thought was Olivia also,al la" lets get Physical",

 but after clarification was actually the coke/pepsi girl from the 80s ads.

 She nailed it, love her get up and she is rad on her wheels too. 

So many great costumes and "appearances".

The Flash Mob is no becoming an annual thing.
I really love the happiness and laughter this brings to the retreat.

Gauche Gets their Frida On

I'm excited , Gauche Alchemy have been bitten by the challenge bug , 

and to celebrate a new chapter at the Gauche Alchemy Blog site 

they have a rad challenge for all artist out their in cyber world.

Mood Board and Inspiration from Frida Kahlo.

I took my inspiration from the beautiful colour palette then

played with some acrylics and a bold silhouette,sprayed a little background ,

and then added some lush beauty using GA Lace,

 and then found a swag of bounty in the GA colour kits .
