we've been away

to the home of australian racing,

Bathurst,NSW

and not the usual type of racing synonimus with mt panarama.

but ultra cool downhill gravity sports ,not a sport for everyone to tackle ,

but 3 days of some awesome spectator opportunities .

Newtons Nation..a music/ gravity sports event featuring downhill,street and classic luge,and downhill inline skated the mountain.

other activities represented vert skating ,bmx,moutain bikes ,

parkour,slackline,and those stupid scooter things lol.

Congratulation to all the competitors who braved such gnarly mountain

and challenged themselves,especially on the rainy sunday ,which ,added another

opportunity for awesome spectator fun .

it was a family festival for us

this is odin,who helped me out and was such a delight to meet

happy halloween freaky friends....

so who celebrated?,if u have kids like me i doubt u are immune from it

as it was a sunday this year

it was a pretty subdude event ..

i was raedy with my cauldron filled with bags of goodies

stamped and tagged "best witches"

i did have a few vicious visitors ,

who were asked to perform tricks ,for their treats

while i spooked at home the kids did a roam with there friends and

came back with a swag of sugary loot

Layout Update

its been a few days ince Ruby left us ,

and although i said i was going to get straight back into it ,

it sort of didnt happen...

sleep happened ,family life,back to work,

workouts with Laurie and 2 sessions of zumba .

i still have 2 canvases and a layout to photograph

but here are 6 layouts to share .

ive been lucky enough to have a few days off work

and with the kids on holidays .

it was a perfect time to invite miss ruby to come join us .

its not just me who is totally inspired by ruby ....her art...her spirit and character .

the kids also have such a super time together...

so it was 3 days of art,skating,photos and fun.....

hows life treating you on these fine spring days ...

life is super busy atm ...with the sunshine seems to come more
opportunities to indulge oneself with weekend activities ....

poor asti's had the day off today ..so run down and bang out come the cold sores

poor darling ,but these kids will push thenselves ..and last week it was sport

not only our usual friday basketball game .she had AUS TAG to play all day friday

then the sleep over at vanessas..dont think much sleep was had and then she returns home on sunday and sleeps all day on the sofa....should have known she would have a breakout .but some kids cant be told ............................heres some pics from her aus tag adventure :)

so who kids have created a picture plate before...

my kids do them every second yr or so....

and ive always wondered how far you could take the creative side

,without actually layering anything(cause there r a few restrictions )

but ill be interested to see how this plate comes out
