New Scrappy Gig

I am a super happy scrapper atm.

Got myself a new paid arty gig with Australia Leading Scrapbooking Magazine 

Scrapbooking Memories , woo hooooo.

Feeling Blessed to be able to share my own unique style of scrapping with the masses.

From January 2014 thru till December, I'll have a double page spread, Yeah baby!!

a little more art jounalling

Im sorta kinda addicted people.

I've been dividing my off days into journal days and scrap days..

journal days are always first and so much fun, but i still have such a blast scrapping.

i have a few more layouts up my sleeve , but nothing i can share atm xx

 So Lucky to spend the weekend with a Friend whom I haven't seen for over 30 yrs ,along with an amazing group of creatives who explored fabulous product , and produced incredible work .

Big LOVE to Paula for another amazing I didn't get time to really get into a serious creative flow,

very happy tomorrow and Tuesday is a day off. :) :) 

I did however manage to produce this for my beautiful friend ,from my school years .

art journalling

I'm having a creative delemia of sorts.

where once layouts consumed my creative thoughts, 

of late, Art journalling has taken over my creative thoughts instead .

Not good for the mass of deadlines atm..

Oh Art Jounalling, I'm simply loving the process . (thanks Paula).

hmmm ,the journalling thing is still a little issue , firstly because I HATE Cliches, omg, 

so many over used,over abused statements floating around.

so picking the right words is important ,But ,I'm proud to say,

 I have completed a couple of pages with journalling , but no photographs as yet .

 I had a very creative time this week and was drawn towards some of my art journalling items 

to incorporate into my scrapbooking pages.. here a little example. .

SFS November Retreat

one super crazy weekend.

a surprise visit from my scrappin bestie,

a lightning visit to Sydney for skateboarding,

 and a scrapbooking retreat on Lake Macquarie.

Here's a few of the pieces i actually had time to create .

WW1 November Blueberry

This months WW1 challenge is Blueberry...it took me a few goes to get this colour right .

I don't know if its actually a true blueberry, but it looks lush it me and who doesn't love to work with Blue.

and such perfect pix for this layout too, of my other half skating in Centennial Park ,Sydney.

 Not Bad for a 51 yr old , who 7 months ago fractured his C6.

This months WW1 challenge also featured a sketch from Creative Scrappers 

I never use sketches, so it was interesting to play with one 

I don't know how close to the sketch my work is as I did flip it and make it my own .
