I know , I can't quite believe it either ;

after spending the weekend at the Lighthouse ,

I have finally secured some skill to throw together a simple whimsical face .

I'm one happy camper :) .

Paula was super charged with different mediums for us try. 

We learnt a few art journaling and background techniques,

a few sketching principles.

We also screen printed our own sea themed t shirts ,using Paulas amazing images.

it was a fun packed full on weekend of messy arty bliss.

 i also got to hang out with my school buddie Cindy and the amazing Kim Price ,

who wow'd us with her amazingly gorgeous pieces of arty goodness

ohhh I'm Stoked,

Work has been a little stressful due to accreditation looming,

but Yesterday we scored an A ..woot woot

so Today and for the next 3 days its full creative time.

heading to the lighthouse tomorrow for an art retreat ..

so I'm super pumped for a wonderful weekend of messy fun.

today was a little cold, perfect because i had an early start at my craft table .

 I'm hopeless at keeping my photos in order,

seriously bad, i have packets and packets of mixed photo

thank heavens for FB photo albums and dated albums .

this weekend i've been flicking thru different photos

selecting random pix to scrap.

i've also been working in my new snap book..

after seeing Jen Halls project life work ..hmmm i'm sorta kinda hooked 

its an awesome way to get photos into creative order..

use up lots of pix at a time and

without all the work of a full layout .

so here is what's been over my desk in the last two days .

i was going to stick Dina, Lou and I in the frame ,

 but i really wanted my words

 to be as important 

as the pix

i love this beautiful woman

i champion her creative talent 

i rejoice in her friendship
