ive been flat out this week,running here and there with

kids and sport,working full time ,trying to keep a heathly positive outlook

all with a nasty infection on my chest ..grrrrrr

the life of a mother right ?!

this weekend asti's had a basketball thing /both days.

playing teams from tamworth/newcastle/maitland and other here on the coast.

next weekend we r off to newcastle for the start of the rep season.

she is so excited to be involved,ever so humble our asti....

evy on the other hand doesnt do sport_

even though she has taken to my training sessions
she isnt into team competitions ,just some skateboarding-her bellydancing

and exercising thru the obstacle course that is her bedroom.lol

lucky me ran into 4 bondi lifeguards on friday night

i was collecting astrid from a disco for Bridies brithday

and on the way out i spotted Maxi_he is so cheeky dont ya think?

so anyway as we approached and we started chatting

low and behold there are 4 of them..yum yum

!..heheheh made my week thats for sure ..lol

i have been playing with the new adobe program

and trying to get some grasp of the editing tools .

evy and i took some pics this afternoon
she's into the whole myspace thing and as u all know

the kids today just love taking pics of themselves and sharing

or maybe its just genetic ..lol

today the kids and paul went to sydney to visit our gorgeous jess

who is in her final 2 months of her hair apprentiship(sp?)

at the sydney hair and design college

(jessie won a $14,000 dollar scholarship)

a 2 weeks ago i went for a bit of a hair make over,

today it was the families turn

asti ,whose hair is dead straight ,had the taylor swift make over

lol ,she looks adoreable and curls are what she has dreamed about for ages

amazing that she has none ...with this gene pool

.well she does now ,:).great job jess

birthday love for my Mum ,who celebrated on jan 27th
and my gorgeous friend Lanae,who also celebrated her special day on the 29th

sydney weekend

a weekend with mary poppins

................

so ive been to town this last weekend

and spend some time with mmary poppins

a tour thru the rocks,a ferry ride on the harbour

a lazer light show in Hyde Park, and to top it off

a super slick concert in the domain ,with the legendary

Reverand Al Green,penman of such classics as "sugar pie honey bun"

"lets stay together" and "my girl".......

it was a wonderful weekend to kick back and relax in my favourite city.

all before i started back to work this week ..yay i love my job ,

my work buddies and the gorgeous lil ones that come thru the door every day..

have you started back at work yet ?????

so ive been super slack as far as art ,and the last big item i made was this piece

so i thought i better actually put something up ,so this is it .....

oh i have made a few pages here and there and of course some

birthday and christmas presents ,

but there always last minute and never get photographed...

i hope to be little more vigilant this yr

Abu Darbi to QLD via GoROCKon

A friend to help bring in the new year ,

she's been away for so long ,

i missed her super creavtive spirit

and I'm so happy to finally spend time with

my gorgeous cyber buddie Robyn

and her delightfully well travelled ,

beautifully manner children.

so for the last four days ,we've caught up and enjoyed

spending time keeping the kids entertained and

bringing in the new year .

for us it was a fabulous little swaray at

the norah head lighthouse ,hosted by

kimberly and carl.

asti also so i just didnt bother .

but this year .im still striving for the perfect self portrait

so yep although it wont be the 365 challenge

you will still be subjected to my gorgeous self ...lol

the kids have an absolute ball with each other
