So little time to create this month, as work commitments took priority .

Finally a couple of play days .

Scrap the Girls is featuring Texture Paste and Paint this month..

 A challenge that is perfect for me .

 I could add this one too, but its Ink rather than Paint .

Whooops , I am late at uploading this layout .

Its been a bit of a crazy time , and my computer is having issues , grrrrrr, 

Its White with One time and this month the feature colour is Duck Egg.

Sharing the scrap love

Last weekend I was fortunate enough to head out to Tamworth with my super creative friend Ruby for an Art and Crafts Retreat. I've  never been to Tamworth before so it was a bit of a treat for me . Its a beautiful drive and with wonderful company and some cool tunes the distance and time flew by .So lovely to catch up with some old scrap sista's and wonderful to meet lots of new scrap friends .

Here's a few pieces I created , that I can share .Each piece heading to someone special.

 This colourful piece was created for Sandra who won the " scrapped by Lisa "raffle 

and this little gem is for Deb

This months featured colour is Pomegranate .

  Although we didn't scrap a lot, we still had a wonderful creative time .

This Layout Makes me so Happy 

Of course the colours just sooth my spirit and make me smile, 

but this photo, taken by my beautiful friend Kaz from Tumbleweed Photography ,

just capture my rambunctious children perfectly .

Plus,this layout fell together effortlessly , I suppose because I was just scrapping for me .

Creative Days

I don't know if its the full moon but the last few days I've creating with gusto,

although I've been down with a nasty cough,I've confined myself to my art table ,and early nights.

WW1 May

Its the first of the month , which means a new challenge.

This month White with 1 feature the luxurious colour Gold ,

Sponsored by Flourish with a Bling its a great challenge to create something extravagant. 

I love a flourish on a layout , and even better when they turn into wings .

reworking an old flat layout

 I found this unfinished layout ,while packing for last weekends retreat and threw it in to my stash.

it was a bit sad and flat and it lacked a bit of life , i thought i would give it a make over .

I can tell its an old piece , because it has pattern paper on it , and its a giant 8"x 6".

I am loving the finished layout.

 Look at this gorgeous young woman , 

she is utterly breathtaking ,

and the daughter of my friend Kim . 

I first met Kim when I attended a She canvas class with her a few years ago.

This weekend we shared a scrap table at the sfs retreat,

I was lucky enough to snavel a photo from her .

This is such a beautiful photo , I could wait to scrap it,and when looking for a title,She came to mind .
