RETREAT WHORING AT THE SAVVY DELIGHTS SCRAP RETREAT SEPT 16-18 2011

I've been at it again, leaving my family behind to find my creative side,

spend quality time with like-minded souls, and enriching my friends base :)

a huge thanks to the savvy /delights ladies who made the weekend a fabulous event for all.

OK....this is some of the scrap art created this weekend..

minus a piece or 2 and considering i was only there from Friday arvo till Sunday lunchish,

i didn't do too bad in the creative stakes...

of course i only came home with 3 pieces done by me and one scrapped for me (thanks Kim Arnold)

these girls are such a hoot ,i only found out at this retreat that they are sisters..doh wtf have i been ,under a rock?....i feel blessed that anyone would want a piece of scrapwitch art, let alone some super talent chickies like these 2...how could i say no when they asked my to scrap a layout...:):)i was chuffed

LITTLE SCRAPBOOK SHOP RETREAT AUG 26-28

I've been away scrappin again, and had a hoot of a time at the coolest scrap retreat ever ..

so i want to give a huge shout out to the Little ScrapBook Shop,

for putting on a fabulous event ,lots of laughter and a great space to scrap/chat, 

fabulous inspiring classes and meeting and catching up with my fabulous LSBS scrap sisters.

Now Cath told me not to bring much product with me, only my essentials .

and of course i did pack light ,but hey one still might need certain things..

but i gotta tell ya the free bootie was incredible ..a lsbs laptop bag ..

lots of supplies to match the free classes..oh my goodness..you LSBS girls are so generous

Unfortunately i only got to attend from late friday till 

closing time sunday, boy its was so cool to hang out with my girl Zane for a lil while

its been to long , and to catch up with Cath ,met Nicole, and see many familiar faces .

NO LONGER WHISPERING

the lovely Bridgette started a chinese whisper swap

Camp Mojo July 21st-24th

Its been almost a year in the planning for me ,and longer for many others.

I was super blessed to be a a part of a retreat weekend,(make that 4 days 3 nights) ,

dedicated to scrap art and bringing together a collection

of super creative spirits with a love for

Paper ,Photos ,(and paint for me )

it was fab to be around all such amazingly creative ppl,

from Australia wide..i couldnt help but feed off the inspiration floating around the room
heres a few lil babies created and nurtured over the weekend ,

Always needing a lil something to get it flowing ,i tackled one of the many challenges

this challenge was orange teal white and brown ♥
happy was this lil camper who won a major stash of Scrapware Bootie ..yay

ohhhh this was like my favourite challenge of the weekend

recycled scrappin. # items....so i went to the spray table and

*swiped the page of butchers paper-how awesome is the spray job-thanks mojo-ers
*headed to the sewing room and taxed the practise swatch

*scabbed the transparency outta the bin...

and a big thannks to the gorgeous lady in the photo with me ..miss Jo,

who whipped up that gorgeous blue flower to match her blossom in the photo

awesome to meet some incredible new spirits

and some longtime friends

and catching up with ppl you have known for almost 6 years

and finally hearing their voice and hanging out with them..what an absolute blast and being around the ppl who have inspired you ,shared your passion,

who know you and your family,who are connected ,even if only via the web,,to finally sit down and share laughter and tears of joy,share a song and a drink and dream that maybe ,oneday,

we can do it all over again,with all those who missed it the first time around..

be inspired and believe that paper is enough to hold hearts together
